Kartika Goswami,女,印度籍,1991年3月生,印度科学教育与研究研究所博士,印度物理研究实验室博士后,讲师。地质学专业,研究方向为释光年代学、地貌学、古水文学和沉积学。主要研究过去的沉积记录(河流、湖泊和风成)以及与气候和/或构造变化相关的地表过程;利用释光特性进行物源识别和沉积物通量计算,并开发了定量估算支流流入主流沉积物的新方法。目前主要研究硅酸盐矿物因化学风化而导致的释光特性的变化,及其对释光测年的影响。采集了中国南方不同花岗岩和玄武岩风化剖面的样品进行实验,以加深我们对化学风化对释光特性影响的理解。在Quaternary Geochronology、The Holocene等期刊发表学术论文6篇。
